Dance Recital 2008

Anna completed her first dance recital this evening. She performed ballet to the "Circle of Life" from the Lion King. I must say she did a fantastic job. Ironically 3 weeks ago she announced to Eric and I that she "was done" with dance and would prefer to swim at the Y everyday vs. go back to dance class. After writing the $30 check for the dance costume I explained to her that she would be finishing dance this year and we would discuss plans for her future. Bless her little soul she hung in there and had a steller performance this evening. I was so proud of her. I think her highlight was getting to wear "mommy's" make-up and the smoothy Grandma Susan bought for her after the show. I'm so so proud of Anna, she is such a little leader and knew her routine perfectly she even "managed / assisted" a couple of the younger girls to insure they new where to go / what to do. I love her so much!
