UGG TICKS!

OK...
The great weekend at the farm has a few prices to pay. As I was taking my shower yesterday morning I quickly found a tiny little tick on my belly no biggy, I have had ticks before.
I have heard some where along this road of parenting that Mothers have amazing instincts.
Well...
When I got home from work tonight, Anna shared with me she was't feeling the best, I felt her forehead and she felt a little warm. So, I decided to strip her down to look for ticks? While doing this we were talking I realized she was lieing under a blanket before she came to see me and I concluded that she was warm due to the blanket. However, approximately 2 hours later after I returned from the Denkmann PTA meeting while getting Anna ready for bed, and assisting her to wash her hands. I decide to look around in her hair, and sure enough I FOUND A TICK at the base of the nape of her hair. UGGG, lets just say because Libby shared with me yesterday the importance of removing ticks within the first 24 hours I became a little paniced. As Eric is commenting on wer're never going fishing and or mushroom hunting again. I keep Anna calm, call Libby whom recommends putting rubbing alcohol on the site and tells me to relax. I then continue to scan Anna's entire scalp (underneath all that thick beautiful hair) for the next 20 min. Then I call for Jude's head which takes me all of 2 min.
Again...
Motherly instincts are amazing, I don't have any idea why I thought for one minute that Anna might have a tick on her but I did and thank goodness I found that nasty little creature.
As for Eric we will be returning to the farm if I have any say in the matter (LOL).
