Family Fun

Wow, I must say that as a first time mom to a kindergartener we have been crazybusy this week. It all started Monday night with Anna's dance recital (per the previous blog.) Then Tuesday night we had another dance performance at the Swing Minor League Baseball game. This was our first family baseball outting for the season. Anna once again performed to perfection, I can see the gracefulness in her ballet. I really do hope after taking the summer off she can reconnect to dance class. Either way she has such passion for things she gets her mind set on. After her dance performance we enjoyed 100% baseball food:

Jude - 2 hotdogs, 1/2 hot pretzel w/ hot cheese, french fries, popcorn, and a large lemon-ade to be shared with Eric.
Anna - 1/2 hot pretzel w/ cheese, french fries, chicken fingers, popcorn, and small sierra mist
Eric & Amy - After spending $20.00 on food decide to eat the left overs, go home after the game and eat salads.

We enjoyed the jump house, the youth baseball diamond, and Jude playing "bozo buckets" on the field after the 5th inning where he won 10 free tickets to any Swing baseball game(s) this summer. Eric's highlight was realizing that Ryan Sandberg was managing the opposing team. Quickly making him think of the time before we had children when he was a "autograph junkie."
Needless to say the next night Eric returned to the baseball stadium to obtain Rino's autograph. I gotta love this guy he amazes me about how passionate he can be a certain things?

Wow, didn't I just write something similiar about Anna and her passions?

Well, know that I written about Anna and Eric I gotta tell this story about the little man. This morning while driving to the Y. As Jude and I do every morning, he announced that he really really wants to take swimming lessons. I told him that I would get him signed up for the summer session at the Y. Later this morning around 11:00 am when Jude and his class were walking outside Jude came running to my office (as he does most mornings) to ask me if I had signed him up for swimming class yet? (Amazing that he remembered) It was at that moment I new I had to get him registered. So, Jude Rowell is signed up for his first swim class on Tues. / Thurs. from 9:45 - 10:30 am over the first 5 weeks during the summer sessions at the DAvenport Family Y. All I can do is wish the instructor the best of luck, Jude is not such a great listener at this time in his life and he has no fear!

I'm posting a couple other pictures as well, Eric and I joined Anna and two of her classmates for "Lunch on the Lawn" yesterday and her school. And this evening while Eric is attending Augie's Pre-Graduation weekend events, I took the kids to the Denkmann PTA's White Water Junction Swim night. Other than the air temp. bieng slightly chilly the water was great and so were the kids. I continued to laugh as Jude and Anna played so nicely together. They really can be wonderful kids it amazes me how much I really love them.
ONLY ONE MORE DAY TILL THE 3 DAY WEEKEND, I'M SO LOOKING FORWARD TO JUST HANGING OUT AT HOME THIS WEEKEND!
