PAINT

Well the time has finally come after living in our home for the past three years and my dad telling me three years ago that the "sofit" of the house and the house were going to need be painted to in sure the house be "maintained". After debating all last summer on weather to spend $10K on siding the house and taking a loan I am very happy we waiting until now to have the house painted. Living in a somewhat of a new community and not knowing everyone like in Bloomfield I have always been somewhat hesitant in the QC about picking someone out of the phone book for house projects. So, I guess you might say that a higher power some how new Eric and I have been struggling with what to do about this whole painting the house thing. Well, earlier this year a friend of ours had her 40th birthday party where we met a "painter!" Darrin just so happens to attend our church as well, in fact he has greeted us every morning for the past 2 plus years? OK so I'm feeling much better about this whole house painting thing! In fact Darrin stopped over this evening to look at the house, inform us that he will start sometime in the middle of May and it should take him 3 weekends to complete, AND the best news is it's not going to rob us of $10K but a mere $1,600. YAHOO. I must say Eric and I are both very greatful for meeting Darrin and I have the utmost faith that our house will look more beautiful after the Paint is applied. And good ole' dad will be happy the "the kids" took care of the house.
