Saturday we spent 1/2 the day at the Quad Cities Fishing and Outdoor show (my dad is an avid fisherman so he loved the idea) The kids thought it was pretty cool, but Eric on the other hand could have cared less. But none the less enjoyed the cinnamon roasted cashews Linda(my step mom) bought for everyone. Eric and Jude both thought it was pretty cool when Jude's tadpole one the race! After looking at a mazillion fishing lours (sp?) and snapping a few pictures we headed home for a rest. As the evening approached we had planned ahead and got a babysitter for the kids so the four adults could go out for dinner and some type of entertainment. We went to Martini's on the Rock for a nice dinner and free entertainment (by the woman sitting behind us who had to much to drink and was laughing entirely TOO LOUD!) Another activity my dad enjoys doing when he visits is hitting the Boats (the gambeling boats). About a month ago a new land casino opened up so we decided to check it out! Eric and I had $12.00 cash. So, I hit the penny slots with $2 and 15 minutes later walked away broke. Eric decided to take the $10 and played two hands of $5 Roulette. Needless to say he walked away $10 less then he started. I'm not sure how much my dad LOST. But nobody walked out a winner. We had a great weekend, the kids got to spend sometime showing off to their papa and nana linda and by Sunday afternoon we all needed naps.

Fishing and Outdoor Show
This past weekend my dad and his wife came to the Quad Cities for a visit. It is always great to have them visit because they don't visit to often. When they do I always try to find something to do. So the weekend went something like this...
