No pictures tonight instead simple moments...
NOT SO PROUD MOMENT-
The first, yesterday when Eric picked up Jude from Preschool, there was a note he recieved and this is what is said:
Description of accident/incident: "Another child hit Jude in the arm so Jude punched them in the nose.
Action taken: Talked to both children about being nice. Talked to Jude about telling if someone hurts him so that the child that started it is in trouble instead of him.
What can I say after two weeks of wrestling with dad and having absolutely no structure I'm just happy there was no blood. Seriously, can you believe my kid punched someone in the nose! After a long "disussion" (2 min. with a 3 year old) Jude was in tears and aplogizing, knowing next time to go tell the teacher!
PROUD MOMENT-
John 3:16
My niece has been in the Awana program since she was 3, she is now 10. And has been telling Anna about the program for the longest. My sister has also really encouraged me to get my kids involved. For those of you that don't know, I'm still learning myself but it is a wonderful faith based program that encourages youth to come to "club" once a week to grow in their walk with Christ through scripture, fun & games, song, and friendships. I'm only telling you this because our church has a program on Tuesday nights and Anna and I went last night. I'm going to volunteer with the kindergarteners while Anna is with the 1st graders. I am so PROUD of her she has already memorized John 3:16 God so loved the world...
This may seem like I'm only proud of Anna and not of Jude but I must add that today when I picked up Jude for preschool, the first thing out of his mouth was "Mama, I was a good boy today." I looked him straight in the eyes and told him at that very moment how proud of him I was!
It's great being a parent. Hehehe!
