Kid's say the most amazing things and I have to write about this so that someday I can look back on this and continue to smile. A few months back Jude realized that he to wanted to take swimming lessons like his big sister. So when the two of us were driving to the Y one morning, Jude says to me, "Mom I want to take swimming lessons." I responded, "OK, Mommy just needs to sign you up so you can take." We make our way into the Y, and Jude reminds me, "Mom make sure you sign me up for swimming lessons." I told him I would take care of it. Then as the morning continues and 10 am arrives Jude's preschool class heads to the playground, walking past my office I hear Jude announce, "Mom did you sign me up yet." I was actually glad he was so persistant. And at that moment, I signed Jude up for his first "structured Y program." He has now completed two sessions of the PIKE level of swim lessons at the Y and makes sure his own bag is packed every Tuesday and Thursday morning.
NOW FOR THE FUNNY...
Yesterday as we were driving home from the Y (see a pattern)I asked Jude if he might be interested in playing soccer this fall. JUDE, looks up to me and says, "Mom, sign me up." I thought I was going to lose it, he was so cute yet so very serious.
This might not be a funny for others, but those of you that read this know that my children don't forget anything. Jude had remembered from his pre-swim lesson program that one must Sign up for a class or program before they can take.
I JUST LOVE MY BOY!!!

That's precious! Isn't it amazing how grown-up and serious kids can seem sometimes? My girls are constantly cracking me up with stuff like that!
Thanks for sharing the cute story! He sounds adorable!
