Sickness

Anna and I spent the day at home after bieng up all night with the flu. We enjoyed good food and friends yesterday for a Traditional Memorial Day picnic however after arriving home last night, putting the kids to bed, and catching up on the Bachelorette, Eric and I heard Anna, and sure enough she was throwing up in her bed. Ugg, poor thing, ended up she "slept" with me all night, every hour on the hour she was sick and running a rather high fever. Eric found the couch and would coming running everytime he heard noises from our room. We made it through the night with little to NO sleep. I called the doc this morning and they said that this was going around to keep her hydrated and let it take its course.

I feel so bad for Anna she kepts complaining that her tummy hurts, I wish I could have the flu vs. her. She keeps singing this song from school that is the cutest little verse about an elephant.
I just hold her and rub her brow with a cool damp cloth, she really seems to like it. She did finally eat some soup broth tonight and she was so happy.

Eric left for Wisonsin this morning and won't be back until Thursday good lord willing the flu will be gone and Anna will be back to herself upon his return. Not to sure what to do about tomorrow with Anna still bieng sick and me needing to work, maybe I'll go in half a day? I'll wait and see what tomorrow brings. I'm looking forward to sleep tonight and that Anna awakes tomorrow feeling better. I love my little June Bug.
