Well, tonight was girls night out! Eric's mom Pat, my good friend Kathy, and her mother-in-law Anita and I attended opening night of Sex and the City the movie. I must say it was GREAT!
Even if you weren't a serious HBO watcher I encourage you to check this movie out.
I sometimes miss the time I used to spend with girlfriends, when in college and the days before I met Eric I relied on close girlfriends more. Funny how when you get married and have kids time isn't the same. That hanging out with girlfriends doesn't happen as much. Or maybe I should just give this time as the kids get older maybe it will happen more easily. Or maybe it won't and this is something I need to work on. I need to work on building my relationships with female friends I guess my entire life whenever I have gotten close to someone either they moved or I moved? Another reason why it is hard for me to make good lasting relationships with women.
However, with our family vacation quickly approaching I am extremely excited that on our return drive home we will be stopping in Omaha to stay with one of my dear friends, Jill and her family. It has been 4 years since we have seen each other, so I must say that I am so so so excited to see her and met her children.
But as for the movie, I laughed, cried and just admired the friendship of Charlotte, Carrie, Miranda and ???? It was such a chick flick and I must say it was great to be a chick tonight!
