5 Languages and ME.
My new position at World Relief doesn't allow me as much time as I would like with clients. I find myself, anytime the doorbell rings at the office, racing around to see who I get to interact with next. I have a wonderful team of individuals who spend many many hours with the clients allowing me to oversee the entire operation of refugee resettlement. However, I have on purpose scheduled myself to do the 30 day orientation with all new arrivals. So, today was that day. I had around 15 clients attend my orientation today. Representing four different countries with five different languages. Arabic, Amaharic, Eritrian, Karen, and Chin. I really enjoy this environment, one would be truely amazed at how appreciative the refugees are. There life stories are absolutely unbelievable, I have sat with so many listening to their tales of why they fled their homeland. I cannot even start to imagine leaving my home for fear of persacution. We have such a humbling God, I am blessed to have been given the opportunity to serve. If you or anyone you know is interested in learning more about refugees and how to help please email or call World Relief.
