Davis County Fair

Eric, the kids and I returned this afternoon from my hometown fair. We had a great time as always. This has become a family tradition of ours for the past few years, and we look forward to it every summer! Some of the events we enjoyed: ~ watching cousins show their cattle ~ having grandma's fried chicken and home grown fresh tomotoes ~ visitng the petting zoo (where both Anna and Jude sat on a Llama) ~ Taco Salads and Mr. Rib sandwiches with Grandama Lucy ~ Turtle Races (Jude won his heat / Anna got 2nd in hers) ~ Muttville Dog Show ~ Midway Rides (Eric had just as much fun as the kids!) ~ 4-H Building (with all the county youths projects) ~ Strawberry Shortcake ~ Horses, Pigs, Chickens, and Rabbits ~ Cousins ~ HS Friends ~ Fun & Laughs. So... many memories are made at the County Fair. I remember this week like it was yesterday during my childhood when my Uncles would help me with my livestock and my mom was really "SUZY HOMEMAKER" assisting me with my baking and wood working projects. Time is so precious, I really had a great childhood and pray my children are making memories that they will have forever!
