Eric was in Chicago last night for work therefore the kids usually sleep with me. However, not last night, I needed to sleep and convinced them to sleep in their beds. Well Jude anyway, and Anna started in her bed then came in with me around 9 pm. So, when she got in my bed she says to me...
"Mom how can a mom and dad not be married and have a baby?" I said to her that we would talk about it later since it was bedtime? Any ideas?
Then today on the way home from work in our once again crazy Winter Wonderland... Jude looked out his window and said "Mom the North Pole." He was viewing the Insurance building with a Christmas Tree, Lights, and Santa with his Raindeer on their roof. It was so cute! I just smiled and said "Honey, that isn't the North Pole but maybe that's what it looks like.
I love my kids. We had a great evening considering Eric is stranded in Chicago again! And Yes, I'm about to go get Anna and snuggle her in bed with me again!
