FOR ONLY $37.00 we now have 17 lbs. of apples sitting in my kitchen not yet "worked." I'm going to make applesauce and Eric an Apple Pie sometime in the next few days. It was a great day, the kids enjoyed eating a few different kinds of apples, seeing the goats and rabbits, and snacking on some good ole' fashioned kettle corn. It was well worth the trip and we got to enjoy some really great warm fall weather. Libby (my sister) always talks about how this is her absolute favorite time of year and I must say I could see why after today! You might be wondering where in the heck Eric was. This was Augie's Homecoming Weekend and he worked all weekend, he missed out but is very excited for the home-ade apple pie!
