Popcorn & a Movie

Finally, the Mediacom guy came yesterday to "fix" our internet. AND... not two min. after he left the darn thing wasn't working again! I wasn't a happy camper, I had to bust out my "tude" on the service agent on the phone. AND thank goodness a different tech came today and we are back in service!!!!!

One Friday a month has become movie & popcorn night at the Rowell household! Eric rents the projector from Augie, we get a "good" movie, pop some corn, grab the sleeping bags and have our very own movie theater in our living room. Friday nights showing was Speed Racer. I lost interested after about 15 min. and retired to the bedroom to watch the DEBATE, and Jude shortly followed once the "scary fish" made their debut. Anna and Eric seemed to enjoy the movie?

Saturday we had soccer and Eric seems to think Anna is on the best team ever for 1st graders. It has become Eric and I's motivation for getting her there, because if it was up to Anna she could care less and continually asks to sit out when the coach asks who wants to sit this one out? I can't say the same for Jude man's three year old team. The "rules" say 5 on 5 but we're lucky if we have 3 on the field at any given time. Between hugs, water breaks, and just plain no interest the 3 year old division is rather painful!

Last night Jude attended a little girl in his preschool classes 4th birthday at Skate City. Yes, I said Skate City, has anyone ever been roller skating with 6 4 year olds? The only advice I will give is, parents don't spend the money on your own skates, it's much easier to be on solid ground when your picking your child up off the ground! Anyway... Jude had an absolute ball, and has announced that he wants to have his B-day party at skate city. Since his b-day isn't until April, I'm hoping he will forgt between now and then.

Today, was such a great day around the house after church. Eric spend over 4 hours in the back yard with our acorns! I cleaned house, and made "Chicago" style hotdogs, home-ade potatoe salad, and baked a yellow cake w/ choc. frosting. Our good friends the Jone's moved this weekend about 3 blocks from our house. Eric helped them yesterday and tonight we took the cake over to help them celebrate their new house. It is so lovely and so much bigger then their old place.

Here is one last picture of my little princess Anna, her Nana Pat bought her this eye cover a few weeks back and she wears it every night, I couldn't resist this picture!
