Updates

Just a quick update on Remintyn, she is doing great!
Off and on today she opened her eyes, and she even hugged her grandmother when she was leaving the hospital this afternoon. Tomorrow she starts therapy! Today was Anna's first "unofficial" day of first grade. We had 1 hour of school this morning (what a pain in my rear!) Then we had "unpack you backpack" tonight. And tomorrow is the "official" first "full day" of school! YAHOO! Why is it that I couldn't wait for her to be out for a summer break and then about two weeks ago, I couldn't wait for her to go back to school? Anyway... Eric and I are super excited about this years teacher!

NEW VAN!!! Yup that right the Rowell's are again travelling in style. That is if you call a 1998 Toyota Sienna "STYLE?" Well, it is and we are extremely happy it's 100% paid for! The insurance money covered about 80% of it!

I'm heading out tomorrow after I drop Anna off at school for Houston. I'll be gone through Friday, between the wonderful heat and possible storms their predicting off the ocean, I'll be looking for a COOL POOL between sessions. I wish I could say I'm looking forward to going but I actually not to exctited this time.

AND... if you are an Iowa reader I'd like to invite all of you to attend the one and only; IOWA STATE FAIR. My dad's on the state fair board and gets so geeked up about this event every year it's all he talks about. He called me this morning around 7:30am to "remind" me that the fair "officially" started today. I must say it is a great fair to attend and there is fun for everyone.
