Two Funnies!

JUDE FUNNY - Eric and I are parents that don't curse around our children, in fact Eric doesn't curse ever and I have a small potty mouth at times. Anyway... last night when Jude was preparing for bed, as he was walking down the hall I hear him say, "Oh, Crap!" Hummm, I thought to myself, then I asked him, "What did you just say?" and he wouldn't repeat it (good thing) I went on to tell him that wasn't a good choice of words to be using. He just looked up and me and said, "Sorry Mama". He is so cute and since he apoligized so sincerely I dropped it. As I mentioned earlier Eric doesn't curse but has been known to say Ah, Crap on occasion! Go figure where Jude picked it up?!?! I guess it's better than Oh, S_ _ T!

ANNA FUNNY - I sometimes let Anna wear lip gloss to school. So this morning when she was getting ready for school, she brought into the bathroom her "Hanna Montana make-up compact" and asked me to open it. Not thinking anything other than she is going to put on a little lip gloss I went on about my business. Not 3 min. later Anna appears in front of me with BRIGHT BLUE "WET" looking CAKED on EYE SHOWDOW COVERING BOTH of HER EYE LIDS! UGGG, WOW was I wrong about the lip gloss thing. So, I had to explain to Anna that she was not going to school looking like a 1980's
Pre-Madonna. All she could continue to ask me was, "But Why MOM?" With out laughing histarically, I smiled at her and said Anna you are so beautiful without make-up you don't want to hid your face with that ugly blue stuff. She smiled and we wiped it off together. I'm so greatful it was so easy this time, and I prey that when she's in Jr. High the battles will be similiar?

Last night I blogged about the bath thing and tonight its make up and curse words, God only knows what's next.
