Grandma Susan Birthday Weekend

I returned from Houston Friday night around 11:30 pm safely! My flight was good however, I collected a summer cold while in Houston. Ugg, the temperatures were around 100 degrees outside but indoors they kept the cold air at 65. So freezing inside and sweating outside got me this cold. Oh, well I guess I'll make it, I'm kinda a baby when it comes to gettin sick. Eric got to go see the Smashing Pumpkins Friday night before he picked me up at the airport, he said it was a great concert. And only my lovable husband would go to this concert alone?!?!

Saturday morning we got around and headed to my mom's to celebrate her 48th birthday. My sister, her husband and their three girls also came. It was good to spend time together. Mom out did herself with the great meals she prepared, we even had home-ade peach ice-cream.

Then today we went out on their boat for a nice easy ride on the Mississippi. Enjoy the pictures.

Some of you may be wondering about Remingtyn. She continues to show great progress! They left the hospital today for Kansas City to the Rehabilitation Center. Not sure how long she will be there but she is talking, eating, and walking on on her own. Please continue to prey for her her entire family are so humbled by this entire experience. God is Good!
