Art Work, Spelling Tests, and Team Work

Here is Anna, Jude, and the neighbor girl Jenna. Jenna spent the night two weeks ago and Anna created this picture of the three kids. Both Anna and Jude have become good friends with her and realized this week that Jenna will be moving in a week to Bloomington with her mom. Anna cried and showed true saddness that her friend is moving. I shared with Anna that Jenna's Dad and grandparents are still going to live in our town and that she will be back to visit them so she can still come see us!

We survived Anna's 1st ever spelling test! I am proud to say she was 6 for 6, 100%!

"Team Work..." Our yard still looks like the "Beverly Hill Billy's!" We're still working on the clean-up from the storm a few weeks ago! Tonight Jude announced, "Mom I got an idea, We can do team work, you and Anna go to the front of the tree stump, and daddy and I can take the back we can then move the stump." I asked him, "Where are we going to take it?" He said, "We can pick it up and throw it to Papa's house." OK... here is what makes it so cute, the stump weighs approximately 800 plus lbs. and my dad lives about 150 miles away. Let's just say the stump hasn't moved, but bless Jude's little soul for wanting to help out!
