Our first Home.

As promised here is a picture of the two flat I lived in before Eric and I got married, then once we got married we lived here for a year. It was in the best neighborhood, everything was in walking distance; - hardware store - cleaners - bakery - theater - grocery store - bank - movie rental shop - numberous bars and restaurants - hallmark store - army surplus shop - did I mention bars and restaurants? Anyway, I guess one doesn't truely appreciate somethings until its gone. And I must say this weekend after recollecting our lives in the city, I realize maybe I didn't truely engage in the true experience. I can say however it was a great time in "my / our" lives. Eric and I are always talking about our retirement and returning to the Oak Park area! He could attend as many White Sox games as we can afford and I'll spend time at the Y, eating at great restaurants, shopping, and volunteering at our old church Calavery. "IT'S ALWAYS GOOD TO DREAM" as Eric continually reminds me.
